Dr. Kristen Schiele is an Associate Professor of Clinical Marketing known for her impact in advancing marketing education through innovative teaching, curriculum design, and student mentorship. Her contributions have been recognized with the Evan C. Thompson Faculty Mentoring and Leadership Award as well as the USC Mentorship Award, reflecting her commitment to developing both students and the university. She currently serves as the Academic Director of the Master of Science in Marketing program, where she oversees curriculum strategy, experiential learning initiatives, and industry partnerships that prepare students for evolving careers in marketing. In addition, she is President of the Marketing Educators Association and a member of its Board of Directors, helping shape the future of marketing scholarship and pedagogy.
Dr. Schiele’s expertise lies at the intersection of digital marketing, social media, and user experience. Her research explores design thinking, digital marketing strategy, and innovations in marketing education, with a particular focus on how human-centered approaches can drive more effective and meaningful marketing outcomes. As a Fulbright Scholar, she taught and conducted research in Portugal, further expanding her global perspective on marketing and education.
